VR Body Movements v2 prepares for Rift DK2 and Sixense STEM

The VR Body Movements script has been extended to support up to 5 trackers. This will enable support for the upcoming Oculus Rift Development Kit 2 and the full 5-trackerĀ Sixense STEM system bundle. Of course, the SDK’s of both products have not been released yet, but this does not stop us from preparing for them.

One option the new version offers is that you can attach one Hydra controller to the Rift DK1 and use that for positional head tracking. The other controller is still available for normal hand movements.

You can use 1 to 5 tracking points at will. Body parts which are not influenced by the tracking points can be used for animation. You are completely free to choose how you want to use the tracking points. For instance you can attach the hydra controllers to your feet.

This asset can be found in the Unity Asset Store or you can obtain it from Passer VR.
